Although motorways are the safest roads to drive on, many people find them daunting and will avoid using them. The speeds involved and having to join using slip roads can be frightening to a new or inexperienced driver. Why not take the motorway driving course. From 4th June 2018 learner drivers will be able to drive on a motorway with an ADI in a dual controlled car. Learners must be at, or close to test standard before going onto the motorway. This is voluntary and will not be included in the driving test. Any learner that I teach will be given the choice to drive on a motorway as part of their training.
