Once you have passed the driving test why not take the pass plus course. This is designed to give the new driver more valuable experience on the roads. The course includes motorway driving,which new drivers have no experience of as you must be a full licence holder before going onto motorways. The other advantage of taking the course is that you can save money on your car insurance.

The course covers 6 areas of driving.   

Town driving.

Out of town driving

All weather driving

Night driving

Dual carriageways

Motorways.

The course can be conducted in hourly or all day sessions. The minimum number of hours needed for the course is 6. There is no test at the end of the course, the instructor signs a declaration form which is sent to the DSA who will then send a certificate to you as proof the course was completed. The pass plus course must be completed within one year of passing the driving test.
